Built for SMB contractors, agencies, MSPs, consultants, and specialist suppliers pursuing federal, provincial, municipal, and broader public-sector contracts in Canada.

How it works

Three steps. Five minutes to your first brief.

01

Set up your profile

Three minutes of guided Q&A captures what you do, where you serve, your project-size sweet spot, certifications, clearances, and hard stops. We use this on every tender we score.

02

Paste a tender URL

CanadaBuys, BC Bid, MERX, or a municipal portal. We read it. Hand-tuned adapters for the big three; intelligent fallback for everything else.

03

Get a verdict + brief

Go, maybe, or no-go. Each verdict comes with cited reasons, a mandatory-requirements checklist, missing documents, and send-ready clarification questions for the buyer.

What you get

Less time qualifying. More time bidding.

BidFit produces qualification artifacts you can act on today. Never proposal narrative, never opaque AI guesses.

Plain-English go/maybe/no-go verdict

Color-coded, confidence-rated, with the top 2 to 5 reasons each citing the exact source notice text. Bias toward "maybe" when in doubt. False "go" verdicts cost you days of wasted bid effort.

Mandatory-requirements checklist

Every mandatory requirement mapped to your profile: ✓ have, ◐ partial, ✗ missing, ? unknown. No requirement is invented. "Not specified" is a valid answer.

Compliance matrix on demand

When you're ready to bid, generate a row-per-requirement matrix as a Google Sheets table with assigned-to, status, and due-date columns ready for your team to fill in.

Daily fits delivered to your inbox

Schedule a daily 6am sweep of CanadaBuys, BC Bid, and MERX. Wake up to a digest of new and amended tenders that match your profile, sorted by verdict.

Suggested clarification questions

Three to five formal, send-ready questions for the buyer's contact email. Use them to clarify ambiguity in the notice before bidding.

Tracking sheet for pursued tenders

Export to Google Sheets with deadline tracking and automatic addendum monitoring. We re-check pursued tenders every sweep and flag amendments.

FAQ

Honest answers.

Does BidFit write proposals?

No, and we won't. Qualification is our wedge. We tell you whether to bid, what's missing, and what to ask the buyer. For drafting, we recommend specialist proposal tools or a bid writer. We hand them a clean compliance matrix.

Which portals do you cover?

CanadaBuys (federal), BC Bid (provincial), and MERX (cross-jurisdiction) with hand-tuned extractors. For everything else (municipal portals, broader public sector buyer pages) we have an LLM-based fallback that handles unknown formats. SAM.gov support is coming via BidFit US (bidfit.co).

Is this Canadian-specific?

Yes. We're Canada-first by design. We handle NAICS and GSIN codes, COR safety certifications, Reliability/Secret/Top Secret clearances, EN/FR bilingual requirements, PSAB Indigenous-business set-asides, and the relevant trade agreements (CETA, CFTA, CPTPP). U.S. support lives separately at bidfit.co.

Can I trust the verdicts?

Every claim in a brief carries a citation back to the source notice. We never invent a requirement, a date, or a value. If the notice doesn't say it, the brief says "not specified." We bias toward "maybe" over "go" because a false-positive go costs you days of wasted effort.

What if a tender isn't on the three anchor portals?

Paste any URL. Our fallback extractor handles unknown portals (City of Toronto, City of Calgary, broader-public-sector buyer pages). The brief will show medium confidence rather than high, and flag any fields it couldn't parse.

How do you handle data privacy?

Your company profile lives in your account only and is never shared with other users. Tender notices we read are public documents. Briefs you generate are private to your account unless you choose to share. We never sell or share user data.
